This is a mechanical traverse/winding solution used to ensure the even distribution of material onto the reel in cable, wire, and yarn winding lines.

In winding lines, the traverse design must be selected based on line speed, material diameter, reel width, and winding pitch. By adapting the mechanical structure to the existing line, a more uniform bobbin shape is achieved.
