Optical Fork Sensor UOS
The UOS optical fork sensor is used to monitor the position of opaque or light-transmissive materials in edge-following and web-guiding applications.
Get a QuoteThe optical fork sensor detects the edge or line of the material via a transmitter and receiver optical system. In edge control systems, the data from the sensor is transmitted to the control unit, and the material position is corrected via an actuator or motor.
The UOS series is particularly preferred for materials suitable for optical detection, such as paper, cardboard, aluminum foil, fabric, and felt. The output type can be selected as analog or digital depending on the application requirement.
