UKK01 is a microprocessor-based edge control device used for edge control and web guiding in lines that process roll stock.
PDF Döküman Get a QuoteThe UKK01 Edge Control Device ensures that the material edge remains aligned with the target position during unwinding or winding. Based on data from the sensor, the roll, slide, or guiding mechanism is moved left or right to correct edge misalignment.
The system can operate with an optical fork sensor, an ultrasonic fork sensor, or a color sensor. It is used in slitting, printing, lamination, labeling, diaper, and bandage production lines to reduce waste and improve winding quality.
