UWC01 Web Guide Edge Control Device
The UWC01 is a microprocessor-based edge control device used for web guiding and strip alignment in roll-fed material processing lines.
Get a QuoteThe UWC01 Web Guide Edge Control Device ensures that the material edge remains in the target alignment during unwinding or rewinding. Based on information from the sensor, the web is guided by moving the slide or steering mechanism left or right to correct edge misalignment.
The system can operate with an optical fork sensor, an ultrasonic fork sensor, or a color sensor. It is used in slitting, printing, lamination, labeling, diaper, and bandage production lines to reduce waste and improve winding quality.
